Nero, Emperor of Rome, comes to Pompeii with his beautiful daughter Fabula. Senator Bilius - aided by his two centurion fools, Atrocius & Furius - is trying to poison Nero so that Bilius can become Emperor of Rome in Nero’s place. Dame Vanilla is trying to give Nero a love potion to become the Emperor’s wife and seeks help from Amnesia the Soothsayer, who is also trying to use one of her potions on mean old Bilius to make him forget his dastardly misdeeds. Pity the potions get mixed up though! Meanwhile, Decius is captivated by more than the stunning sights of Pompeii, and poor Gladioli - Dame Vanilla’s son - just tries to stay alive and keep the lions at bay…
